After just a single year since its first appearance on the MergerLinks rankings, Barabino & Partners has been awarded the “Leading Company” recognition for the “PR Consultants EMEA 2022” category.
According to MergerLinks, Barabino & Partners clocked in at 144 deals for a total value of £64,642 million and an average deal size of £1,026 million during 2022. It is the only Italian company in the rankings.

MergerLinks – which ranks M&A advisors across the globe – emphasises Barabino & Partners’ distinctive leadership in the corporate and financial communications consulting sector.
Federico Steiner, Partner and Group Managing Director, underscores that “the acknowledgment is the result of our ability to combine Italy’s unique relational skills with the profession’s highest international standards, also thanks to our direct international presence and strong teams at B&P UK Plc, B&P Deutschland Gmbh, B&P USA LLC and B2P Gmbh, which allow us to preside over the British, German, Polish, Czech, Austrian, Swiss, French, Dutch, Belgian, Spanish and North American markets”.
More specifically, the selection process for the MergerLinks rankings requires the companies to satisfy several “minimum criteria” to be eligible to receive an award. The categories are allocated based on the relative market share, which is determined based on the volume of the transactions as well as their weighted average value. The total value, the number and the average size of operations concluded in 2022 is then calculated for each participating company. These figures and the relative market share inform the rankings, which place B&P at the top of the “Leading Company” category.
Barabino & Partners – with over 140 employees, eight offices world-wide, over 20 million euros in revenue and an EBITDA of over 5 million euros as of 2021 – is the only Italian representative in the international arena of communications consulting. Current predictions measure further growth in 2022.
